As a Principal Consultant – Practice Advisor, Anuraag’s focus is Human Resources Consulting across broad areas of HR practice including talent and succession management, organization and leadership development, compensation and benefits, staffing, and Mergers & Acquisitions.

He has over thirty years of international experience in HR consulting and business partnering across global organizations around the world. He extensively partnered with businesses to identify opportunities to enhance business growth, develop organization and talent strategies and oversee their execution. His expertise includes coaching and development of senior talent including CEOs and leadership teams, enabling successful leadership transitions, and operating in highly matrixed environments in mature organizations, start-ups and Joint Ventures.

As the Head of HR for International Businesses at Prudential Financial, Anuraag had human resources responsibility for employees in twelve countries, including the United States. The main focus of the role was human capital management that involved development and deployment of scalable HR strategies and solutions at a global level while also meeting customized needs of individual markets. One of the highlights was the development of leadership model for international markets to enable leadership success within the local business and market context. The leadership model was integrated across HR verticals spanning talent acquisition, compensation & benefits, talent development and succession, and culture with a clear impact on efficiency and productivity.

Anuraag’s HR experience in India includes the HR Head role in many companies including Pramerica Life Insurance, Cargill India and Gillette India Ltd. He also has experience setting up HR Shared Services as a regional leader across India and EMEA region. He began his career as an officer in the Armored Corps in the Indian Army and graduated from the prestigious National Defense Academy.

Anuraag is a graduate from the prestigious National Defense Academy (India), has a master’s degree in Human Resources, and is an accredited facilitator and trainer for many international leadership and professional development programs.
