Designed and delivered a global Project Management Curriculum for a Fortune 100 Client to enhance the Corporate Education Center. We created the global Project Management Curriculum Development design and delivery methods within a certificate program offered across the university’s growing portfolio of global corporate clients. This curriculum is tailored to meet the diverse needs of international organizations, ensuring a comprehensive and practical learning experience. Additionally, we were tasked to design, integrate, and execute against a Project Management Best Practice Methodology to substantiate the internal workings of the Corporate Education Center's own PM Practices. This methodology not only aligns with industry standards but also incorporates cutting-edge practices to drive project success. Our holistic approach ensures that both the educational content and the operational processes are optimized, ultimately contributing to the continuous improvement and excellence of the Corporate Education Center.

Client

The client is a top tier Boston Based University with a leading corporate education program that offers certifications to a global portfolio of Fortune 100 Clients.

Challenge

The client needed both core curriculum and best practice to satisfy an expanding client base and topical reach in the Project Management, Business Analysis and Process/Quality Management skill families. The delivery, design, and management of a background best practice to help with implementation was also required to meet standardization and measurable results for multiple clients who required governance and compliance controls to ensure maturity levels.

Solution

AMS partnered with multiple internal resources at the university to create a multi-tiered learning curriculum and best practices that addressed all the topical gaps from the core offerings. Upon design, we certified a team of facilitators to customize and deliver the content across multiple platforms in the university, globally at existing clients, and developmentally with the sales team. This ability to scale was key for the client as they were accommodating an aggressive growth vision.

Additionally, we designed and consulted on the implementation of an internal Project Management Best Practice via both the Lifecycle and Methodology to maintain this curriculum and ensure continuity in delivery and scale. We designed multiple core learning offerings and delivered many of them to an expanding Fortune 100 client base. By designing and implementing a standard Project Management process, we supported the growth and scale of the center. Furthermore, we populated a Learning Management System to support the university and align with client needs. Partnering with the sales team ensured that clients saw SME-level value in the process, further enhancing the overall impact and success of our solutions.

The client met several key objectives based on the above solution. They expanded the revenue of the Corporate Education Center by 5x in the first 24 months of enabling the expanded curriculum. This significant growth demonstrated the effectiveness of the curriculum and its appeal to a broader client base. Additionally, they bolstered the internal team and associated skills to manage the uptick of clients within a structured Project Management (PM) process and related measures of success. This ensured that the organization could handle increased demand without compromising on quality.

Furthermore, a talent onboarding baseline was created, allowing the center to scale as needed with regional and global clients. This provided a structured approach to onboarding new talent and ensured consistency across different locations. The client also populated a standard Learning Management System that integrated with the university and supported the above best practices. This system facilitated seamless learning experiences and contributed to maintaining high standards across the board.
