Colleen Franca, CPCC, is a Managing Principal – Practice Advisor at Advanced Management Services, Inc. (AMS), a Global Management Consulting firm, practicing in the areas of Organizational Development Consulting, Professional Development Training, and Performance Coaching. AMS has been serving Fortune 100/500, Middle-Market, Emerging High-Growth, and Government clients since 1994.
As a Managing Principal – Practice Advisor, Colleen focuses her efforts on improving organizational and employee performance, management & leadership development, team building and empowering women in leadership. She has a strong track record of success in changing attitudes, building trust, and transforming the capabilities of people to support a culture of innovation and collaboration. In addition, Colleen contributes to the firm’s Regional Business Developer (RBD) program and manages a team dedicated to the growth of the brand.
She has authored numerous articles, including: “Do Women and Men Lead Differently”, “Developing Emotional Intelligence” and “The Case for Emotionally Intelligent Lawyers”. She has developed and facilitated Women in Leadership workshops, most recently for the Salesforce NYC Women in Technology and for BGE and Constellation’s Women in Power group. She has served on the committee for the Women’s Venture Fund, an organization dedicated to helping women entrepreneurs succeed in business.
As Vice President of Learning and Organizational Development at Oppenheimer Funds, she led successful learning, performance, leadership and organizational development efforts. For over 20 years she designed and delivered tailored learning and organization development solutions from large scale projects to individual and team development. Colleen has led initiatives and programs with leaders, individuals and teams to set clear paths toward more productive and collaborative ways of working in alignment with the goals and objectives of the firm.
She has extensive management experience leading co-located learning and development and HR technology teams to develop and deliver leadership and enterprise professional development programs and implementing HR Technology platforms.
Colleen holds a BFA from FIT, and certificates in Management & Organization Development from New York University and Executive Leadership from Columbia University. She studied and received her CPCC (Certified Professional Coach) from one of the leading coaching schools in the US: The Coaches Training Institute; as recognized by the International Coaching Federation where she passed rigorous standards of qualifications and ethical practices.
She has also studied consulting with Peter Block, Flawless Consulting and coaching with Annie McKee, Teleos Leadership Institute. She has experience with a number of psychometric instruments including DISC, Social Styles, Caliper, Personalysis and is a certified Myers Briggs practitioner.
