Born in Brooklyn and raised on Long Island, Linda embodies the essence of a true New Yorker. Between her time on Long Island and her move to Manhattan, she lived in remote locations such as Madagascar, Hawaii, and Switzerland, embracing unique cultural experiences along the way. In Madagascar, she settled before the animated film made it famous, while in Hawaii, bodysurfing became her daily workout. Switzerland introduced her to skiing and fondue, passions she carried with her. After years of traveling, Linda moved to Manhattan to pursue acting. As the entertainment industry expanded globally, she transitioned from the stage to a corporate career, working in financial marketing, communications, and event coordination. She remained in finance until the 2008 market crash forced a reevaluation of career strategies, revealing the growing importance of technology in job searches. This shift inspired her to launch Pressing Beyond, where she combined her writing skills with career coaching to help professionals step outside their comfort zones. As her business flourished, her personal life took a turn when she met Ed, leading to her relocation to Pittsburgh. During the 2020 pandemic, she launched Pressing Beyond as a podcast, which quickly gained global traction. Over four years, she dedicated herself to writing We Will Count Stars: Following Abraham, scheduled for release in late 2023. Today, she coaches business professionals in communication skills and speaks to women on faith-based topics.

Linda has an extensive background in theater, with notable performances including The Legend of Sharon Shashanovah and Gridlock, a five-act comedy she wrote, produced, and performed at the West Bank Café in New York. Since moving to Pittsburgh, she has worked with the Pittsburgh Irish and Classical Theatre (PICT), appearing as Molly in Great Expectations and playing multiple roles in Oliver Twist. Her career spans Off-Off Broadway productions, regional theater, television, and commercials, with credits including I’m Your Woman (Amazon Prime Studios), Saturday Night Live, All My Children, Law and Order, and New Jack City. She has also served on the SAG-AFTRA Ohio/Pittsburgh Local board and contributes to the SAG-AFTRA Industry Magazine.

The podcast was nominated for Best Female Podcast by the People's Choice Awards in 2021 and continues to grow across multiple time zones and unexpected destinations.
