As an Organizational Development Consultant, Professional Development Leader, and Executive Coach, Phil has led complex programs/projects across HR, Global Operations, Talent Management, Enterprise Business/IT groups, as well as helping C-Suite Executives to realize their greatest potential. He has developed/implemented best practice consulting solutions, designed/delivered customized training programs, and facilitated executive coaching sessions for global clients such as JP Morgan, Bank of America, Morgan Stanley, The Hartford, NASA, MIT Lincoln Labs, Pfizer/Pharmacia, Merck, Phillips Petroleum, Walmart, BCBS, Prudential, The Hanover, AT&T, Genzyme and many others. Some of his direct contributions range from strategy development, Agile/digital transformation, innovation & strategic planning, performance management, learning & development structure development, talent management, globalization, servant leadership, culture development, and integrated quality workflow design.
Phil has designed best practice models such as the REST Leadership Framework, the 4x4 Instructional Design Structure, the Bridge Selling System, as well as foundational processes to support Dynamic Learning Tracks, Business Simulation Training, and a L&D foundational infrastructure called the Learning Academy.
As a serial Entrepreneur, in addition to AMS, Phil founded AMS Aviation, PTV Equity and WIT Marine Group. Phil maintains an active role in PTV Equity as the CIO with direct oversight responsibility for venture funding and asset class/equity portfolio analysis & trade execution.
As an Industry Thought Leader, Phil maintains an active presence in associations, is a sought-out speaker, as well as publishing on Organizational Development topics relevant to his firm's practice areas. Phil has contributed as an adjunct faculty and/or guest lecturer at Boston University, University of Massachusetts-Boston, California State University-Hayward, and is a regular contributor to the Business Ethics curricular at Suffolk University Sawyer Business School.
Phil earned his BSBA and M.B.A. with a concentration in Organizational Development, from Lasselle and Northeastern University, holds a Master Certificate in Project Management from Boston University, and an Advanced Leadership Accreditation from the University of New Hampshire. Additionally, Phil, holds accreditations from industry associations such as PMI, ASTD, and SHRM.
Phil is a commercially rated pilot, and among other interests, is an offshore yachtsman, adventure motorcycle enthusiast, backcountry skier, golfer, aspiring guitarist, and global citizen with a flair for wanderlust, having traveled the world in pursuit of adventure and cultural fulfillment.
