Richa Maheshwari is a Principal Consultant – Practice Advisor at Advanced Management Services, Inc. (AMS), a Global Management Consulting firm, practicing in the areas of Organizational Development Consulting, Professional Development Training, and Performance Coaching. AMS has been serving Fortune 100/500, Middle-Market, Emerging High-Growth, and Government clients since 1994.

As a Principal Consultant – Practice Advisor, Richa focuses her efforts on improving organizational and employee performance, management & leadership development, stakeholder management, global team collaboration, digital transformation, and agile coaching.

Richa is a technology & infrastructure leader with a decade-long track record of managing complex cross-functional projects across five countries (US, Australia, Singapore, India, and Cambodia) in leading tech companies like Amazon and Uber, emerging tech-startups like Codecademy and Declara, and educational institutions like University of New South Wales and Pratham Education Foundation. She is also currently building a health and wellness startup in Singapore.

She is sought out for her ability to lead via influence, manage cross-functional, cross-geography stakeholders and build programs that are sustainable and scalable. Richa consults and trains with technology and other tech-driven companies on building organizational strategy, policies, skills and operations, in these vertical areas of interest.

Previously, as the head of Operations for Amazon Web Services’ Singapore business, Richa led business reviews and streamlined operations to increase team efficiency. At Uber, Richa partnered with the Chief Information Officer to build operational efficiencies and sustainable processes for Uber’s IT operations globally. She developed a hyper scaling strategy for the CTO to improve cost efficiency. She also built and scaled Uber Engineering’s first diversity & inclusion focused sponsorship & leadership development learning program. (While partnering with AMS as the client PoC). As the head of Product Operations at Codecademy, Richa partnered with engineering, product and design teams to launch and scale products.

Richa translates a vast portfolio of experience to teaching and learning moments when delivering developmental programs.  She is dedicated to excellence and seeks to share her expertise to help others bolster new and present skill sets.

Richa holds a Master of Public Administration from Columbia University, New York and a Bachelor of Business Management from Singapore Management University. She has authored an op-ed on Democracy and Corruption which was published by Project Syndicate and the World Economic Forum. She loves to travel, go on hikes and mix cocktails.
